Language, Literacy and Numeracy Program (LLNP)

This program is funded by the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations

The LLNP 800 Hours program provides Initial, Basic and Advanced English Training.

 

 

To access our training and be eligible for referral you must:

  • be registered with Centrelink as a person looking for work
  • not be in full-time study
  • have no barriers to successfully participate in the Program (a minimum of 80% attendance is required)
  • fully satisfy the eligibility criteria as set out by Centrelink and Job Network

Our training includes the following modules:

  • Job seeking
  • Computing
  • First aid
  • Occupational Health, Safety and Welfare (OHS&W)
  • Work Skills (Cleaning)
  • Driving Rules
  • Citizenship Courses       

 

We also provide:

  • Certified training in Spoken and Written English (CSWE I-IV)
  • Diploma in English Proficiency
  • Preparation for the Occupational English Test (OET) (CSWE IV and above)

 

Further support is provided with:

  • Career and Employment Counselling
  • Work Experience and Placement services

 

The Advanced Vocationally Oriented Courses (AVOC) (450 hours) with English Support includes:

  • Certificate III in Children’s Services (CSWE III and above)
  • Certificate III in Aged Care (CSWE III and above)

 

Complimentary Training (CT) for Basic and Advanced Streams (160 hours)
